Alfred Williams & Company (AWC) is looking for an A+D Representative that will drive sales through the A+D community and maximize the impact A+D has on our success. This person will work to become a trusted advisor that develops, manages, and creates demand within A+D accounts. This position will cover Austin & San Antonio, TX markets.

-Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for key A+D firms within the region.
-Conduct activities in a sales capacity to influence the design specification/selection of products represented by AWC for targeted A+D firms and project opportunities.
-Promote service capabilities of AWC (i.e., workplace strategy, ancillary specialist, etc.).
-Develop relationships and create a strategy for individuals within an A+D firm.
-Collaborate with appropriate resources from our manufacturing partners.
-Influence the criteria that A+D firms use for the selection of product to be specified and respond to technical questions concerning product application.
-Maintain QuickBase customer relationship management (CRM) information.
-Manage and/or assist with the necessary coordination to the design takeoff, product application, and conversion activities within A+D firms.
-Provide/participate in design training on new products for specific project opportunities and target accounts.
-Work with other sales roles to respond to, support, and proactively secure specifications on opportunities within the A+D firm.


-A Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An equivalent level of experience will also be considered.
-A proven ability to network and build relationships with key A+D influencers.
-The ability to develop strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate.
-The ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
-Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
-The ability to strive for high personal performance standards while continuously learning and being results-oriented (i.e., holding yourself accountable for results).
-The ability to travel in support of business objectives.
-A demonstrated ability to effectively use the office automation, communication, software, and tools used in the office environment.
